Management Accountant

Main purpose of the position

The purpose of the position is to prepare monthly management accounts, provide financial insight, analysis to support business decision making and to ensure accurate timely financial reporting. Assisting with planning, budgeting and monitoring thereof.

•Bachelor’s degree in commerce (Majoring in Accounting) /National Diploma in Accounting equivalent.
Human Resources Clerk

Main purpose of the position

The purpose of the position is to develop and implement investment promotion strategies to drive investment into the rural areas of the Province. The role is key in identifying, facilitating, and securing investments that align with the Agency’s rural development objectives.

• An Honors degree in Commerce/International Business/Investment Management, or a related field (NQF Level 8) .

Main purpose of the position

The purpose of the position is to provide engineering support in the development of project infrastructure of the organization.

• Membership of a professional body such as SACPCMP

Main purpose of the position

The purpose of the position is to formulate the development and implementation of the long-term strategy, create shareholder value, and ensure sustainability, growth, portfolio management direction, leadership, and operational results. The CEO is responsible for overseeing and leading the agency, ensuring optimal performance and management of ECRDA to enhance Shareholder Value and meet obligations to all stakeholders.

Minimum requirements

Education Qualification

• Grade 12 (NQF level 4)
• A Master of Business Leadership (MBL) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) (NQF Level 9) from a reputable institution.
• Membership of a professional body such as SAICA; IoDSA or any other relevant bodies
Position : Manager Financial Accounting

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POST

Education Qualification

• B Comm Honours in Accounting or equivalent (NQF Level 8).
• A Chartered Accountant CA(SA) will be an added advantage.
• 8 years working experience
• 6 years’ experience at middle management level (equivalent of Manager or Director in the public service)
• Candidates who have served articles either in auditing or accounting, will have an added advantage.
• Proven or evident successful operational and process management within the public sector (provincial or local government).
• Experience with payment of payroll

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POST

Education Qualification

• NQF level 8 qualification in the Financial Management or Accounting
• Chartered Accountant CA (SA)
• 10 - 15 years working experience in finance with strategic thinking and leadership skills
• 5 years working experience as a CFO in a public entity or government.
• Understanding of Public Finance Management Act and National Treasury Regulations.
• Experience in working for or with AGSA will be an added advantage
• Master of Business Administration (or Executive Education at MBA level) will serve as an added advantage
• Code 8 driver’s licensee

• Experience in Trade & Investment will serve as an added advantage • Code 8 driver’s license

Education Qualification

• At least 5 years working experience in a similar role.
• 3 years’ experience of working with board of directors or in the committee’s section
